Weather forecast for the long weekend (April 28 – May 1)

A lot of us were quite happy to hear about the recent warm weather that broke a Hungarian record, hoping that the sunny conditions will keep up throughout the long-weekend so that nothing will stand in the way of a good hike or a nice picnic. How the weather turns out to be will be revealed in the following.

Saturday, April 28

Koponyeg.hu writes that the Sun will dominate the sky, very few clouds will appear and there are extremely low chances of rain in Southern Hungary. The temperature will be around 25°C during the day.

Sunday, April 29

Lots of sunshine is in store for Sunday too, though the chances of rain and rain showers are a bit higher. Idokep.hu warns us of strong wind and hails too.

Despite the rain, the temperatures will be higher, reaching 27°C.

Monday, April 30

The rainclouds will finally step up and take the stage, but actual rain is not expected everywhere. The wind will gather strength in the evening. Despite the gloomy sky, the temperature will be really warm, mediating between 24-29°C.

Tuesday, May 1

May arrives with sunny weather, few clouds and slightly high chances of rain. We are to expect 22-27°C.
