Adrenaline and water fun collide as Hungarian Aquacinema Slide Park reopens at full capacity!

Adrenaline, water, and summer thrills all in one place: Kisvárda’s top attraction, the Aquacinema Slide Park, is back in action at full capacity! One of Hungary’s largest water slide parks is once again welcoming thrill-seekers with 14 unique slides.

Aquacinema Slide Park

As Sokszínű Vidék reports, one of Eastern Hungary’s most popular summer destinations is now fully operational. From 1 July, the Aquacinema Slide Park in Kisvárda has reopened. Featuring a total of 14 slides, the park caters to visitors in search of high-energy fun. Launching from a five-storey height, the slides offer a range of difficulty levels and speeds, ensuring a suitable ride for both beginners and seasoned sliders. Instead of traditional pools at the end, the rides feature special deceleration lanes that ensure safe landings, contributing to the park’s uniqueness and modern design.

Operating since the 1960s

Kisvárda’s local spa culture dates back decades: the Várfürdő bath complex has been serving both locals and tourists since 1967. Over the years, the facility has undergone significant upgrades, culminating in its 2018 relaunch as Aquacinema, complete with a fresh look and expanded offerings. These improvements have not only enhanced local recreation but also secured Kisvárda’s position on Eastern Hungary’s tourism map as a prime summer hotspot.

Fun for all ages

Beyond the slide park, the complex also features adventure pools, children’s pools, and lap pools, making Aquacinema an ideal destination for families. Multi-generational visitors can extend their stay at the nearby campsite, which accommodates both tents and caravans. Although the indoor wellness area is closed during the summer, the variety of attractions on offer ensures a well-rounded experience. This modern aquatic facility is the perfect place to combine water adventures with summer relaxation.
