Veszprém to build digital hub for European Capital of Culture 2023
The city of Veszprém in western Hungary will build a digital hub using modern technologies to present classics of Hungarian and international fine arts as part of the European Capital of Culture 2023 project, the government commissioner in charge of the scheme said on Thursday.
Tibor Navracsics said the hub will also function as an engine of growth for the local economy, hosting workshops and conferences. The local Pannon University will play a leading role in supplying the digital content, he added.
Another important investment will be the transformation of a former children hospital building to a community space, he said.
