US Baptists send HUF 85m aid shipment to Hungary

Budapest (MTI) – Texas-based Baptist congregations and the local hospital association have sent an aid consignment worth about 85 million forints (USD 300,000) to Hungary; the donations are designed for the migrants in Croatia and Serbia as well as the poor in Hungary, Hungary’s Baptist Charity told MTI on Saturday.

The shipment containing medical supplies, bandages, disinfectants and infant formula arrived by air to Budapest on Saturday morning.
