Ukraine outraged: Orbán said behind closed doors that they would lose the war

PM Orbán said behind closed doors to some journalists that the Russians regularly start wars weakly. However, then they correct errors and become unstoppable. Therefore, Ukraine’s successes are in vain because, in the long run, Kyiv cannot win despite all Western help, he highlighted.
As a result, Ukraine summoned the Hungarian ambassador to Kyiv. He had to answer why Orbán thinks Russia aims to make Ukraine an ungovernable pile of debris. Furthermore, he had to explain why the Hungarian prime minister compared their country at war against one of the world’s greatest armies to Afghanistan and why Orbán said Ukraine was “a no man’s land”, 444.hu wrote.
The Ukrainian foreign spokesperson said Orbán’s statements were utterly unacceptable, damaging Ukrainian-Hungarian relationship.
Orbán added then that it was impossible to lose for Russia, and in the case of a coup d’etat, only a worse person could follow Putin.
