Travelling to one of the world’s most developed megalopolises became easier from Budapest

According to the Embassy of Hungary in Singapore, travelling to the Southeast Asian megapolis has become easier and shorter. The first flight opening that opportunity will start this June.
According to a post published by the embassy, “the flight time from Singapore to Hungary just got a whole lot more convenient. With Scoot’s new direct route from Singapore to Vienna starting this June, travellers can reach Europe in just 13 hours!”
Based on the post, Ambassador Judit Pach met with a team from Singapore Airlines and discussed the new opportunities the new flights between Singapore and Vienna will open for the Hungarians. “Scoot, a member of the Singapore Airlines family, is making travel to Hungary much more accessible. While travellers will still need a short transfer from Vienna to Hungary, this direct connection saves valuable time and makes the journey smoother”, they said.

Whether for business or leisure, this new route opens up more opportunities for travellers to explore Hungary’s rich culture, beautiful cities, and scenic landscapes. They believe that the new direct flight will bring Hungary and Singapore closer than ever.
Singapore is now closer to Budapest
Surely, Vienna is close to Budapest if a Singaporean checks the two cities out on the map. The travel time by car between Budapest’s downtown and Vienna’s Schwechat Airport is a bit above 2 hours, and you can get to Vienna’s downtown by train in only 2 hours and 40 minutes.
We wrote HERE why travelling to Austria (and Slovakia) has become more difficult from Hungary and why many border crossings have been closed to traffic.
