Special offers from Budapest: fly to these popular European destinations for just pennies!

The Irish airline Ryanair has announced its big spring promotion. You can now buy tickets for less than HUF 10,000 (EUR 26.79) to popular European cities. Get your suitcase ready!

Budapest-Prague for under EUR 16

After Wizz Air, Ryanair has announced its spring promotion. You can take cheap flights to several European cities until the end of June from Budapest. Prague will be available for under HUF 6,000 (EUR 16.07) on 16, 23, 30 and 31 May. Return tickets are cheapest on 23 and 30 May. But there are also discounted tickets for June, Pénzcentrum reports.

Budapest-Billund for around EUR 18.75

Billund in Denmark is known to have the first Legoland in the world, which is why so many families with children visit the town. However, it’s worth paying attention to detail, as accommodation prices are sky-high: practically, you cannot find anything for under EUR 100. What is more, for a hotel, you should rather expect EUR 200/night for 2 people. But at least airfares are cheap: on 15 and 16 May, you can travel for around HUF 7,000 (EUR 18.75), and return flights on the 15th and 23rd, 30th and 31st are quite cheap.

Budapest-Copenhagen

Copenhagen, another wonderful destination in Denmark, also sounds tempting. Especially because tickets cost HUF 7324 on 17 May (EUR 19.65), and you can get a cheap return ticket on 23 and 30 May.

Budapest-Zadar

Croatia is also attractive in spring! Many Hungarians spent Easter there, and in Zadar in June, the more adventurous can take a dip in the sea. There are cheap tickets for 14 and 16 June.

Other unmissable European destinations

In addition, tickets are available to Rimini from HUF 8739, Brussels from HUF 9515, Sofia from HUF 10,129, Pisa from HUF 10,746, Rome from HUF 10,746, Paphos from HUF 11,999, Paris from HUF 14,117 one way (all between EUR 23.45 and 37.88).

The earlier the better?

According to Pénzcentrum, compared to the end of March, by the end of April, prices for flights from Budapest had plummeted. Thus, it’s not necessarily true that the sooner you buy your ticket, the cheaper it will be. Dynamic pricing means that in the online world, a product or service becomes more expensive in real time depending on demand, so you can find last-minute deals on tickets to popular cities for pennies.
