Comedy Central didn’t miss the chance to join in on the fun. The channel posted a classic South Park clip on Facebook, featuring a fictional phone call between former Hungarian President János Áder and Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the scene, Áder invites Putin to Hungary, promising to screen a South Park and a Family Guy episode—if Russia and France admit Hungary won the “Játék határok nélkül” (Games Without Borders) competition. “We even switched the language, Comrade Putin!” the channel quipped in their post. “So, who won in 2015?”
The channel confirmed to Telex that the Russian-language broadcast was simply a technical glitch, not a sign of a new programming direction.
