Renewal of a Forgotten Underpass

An abandoned underpass of Zugló, Budapest has been renewed, szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu reports.

The community has taken some action to make one of Zugló’s underpasses nicer, even some kids helped in painting it. After the Civil Society of Zugló’s latest action, the underpass in the corner of the Mexican and the General street has became more colorful and friendly.

The organization is working  to make Zugló’s citizens’ living environment more cosy and fitting for everyone.

The underpass had been painted by 12 people, who all in all used 150 liters of paint in two days. It is typical for this collaboration and community action that not just the members of this collaboration laind hands on  paint roller or paintbrush  ,but  many passer-bye and even kids have joined them.

The underpass painting  become a kind of a trademark of the collaboration- said Várnai László, the president of the  Civil Society of Zugló.
