34th Hungarian Press Photo Contest – List of award winners and the best photos

Budapest (MTI) – Results of the 34th Hungarian Press Photo Contest have been announced on Monday.

Grand Prix

  • MÚOSZ Grand Prix – István Fazekas (HVG): Transit Country
  • André Kertész Grand Prix – Déri Miklós (Déri and Co. Bt.): The policy of the Roma body, There is no innocent picture.

Special awards

  • Escher Károly Award for the best news photo – Tibor Illyés (MTI/MTVA): Homage
  • Munkácsi Márton Award for the best collection: Simon Móricz-Sabján (Népszabadság)
  • Péter Komka (MTI/MTVA) became the best photo reporter working in the counties.
  • Antal Bánhegyesi (freelancer) received the award for the best photo reporter under 30.
