Positive change from Monday in these Hungarian stores: don’t miss it!

Lidl Hungary is once again reducing the prices of more than 60 dairy products. Some items will be up to 20 percent cheaper in stores from 5 June. This is due to the company passing on to its customers the price advantage resulting from the better purchasing opportunities.
From 1 January, Lidl launched a major price reduction programme. As a result, the company has already reduced the price of more than 500 products, with some products now being up to 40 percent cheaper in their stores. This is due to the company passing on to its customers the price advantage of better purchasing opportunities, they said.
The supermarket chain’s price-cutting campaign has now reached another milestone. Dozens of dairy products will be reduced in price from 5 June. These include basic dairy products, fresh and long-life milks, various cheeses, multi-flavoured yoghurts, milk drinks, milk desserts, butter and sour cream, Pénzcentrum writes.
In addition to the price reduction programme, Lidl Hungary has decided to offer its customers a much larger discount of between 20-50 percent instead of the required 10 percent for the mandatory promotions that came into force on 1 June.
“This time, we are reducing the prices of more than 60 dairy products, and the price reduction can reach up to 20 percent,”
said Judit Tőzsér, the company’s communications manager.
