Demonstrations against the Hungarian government’s kata tax bill resumed on Monday morning. President Katalin Novák has since signed the law. At Monday’s protest, police used tasers to disperse the crowd.

The demonstration on Monday morning was not organised by politicians, but by the people concerned. Nevertheless, there were politicians at the demonstration. András Jámbor, a representative of the Párbeszéd, broadcast the police action live on his Facebook page.

The video shows the policeman putting his taser on the thigh of a demonstrator with glasses who was sitting on the ground and then turning it on. In the video you can hear the sound of the electric current and the man’s screams, 24.hu reports.
