Persecuted Christians from all over the world thank for Hungary’s aid in touching VIDEO

Persecuted Christians “thanked Hungarians in a touching video”, the state secretary for aiding persecuted Christians said on Monday. Tristan Azbej posted the video on his Facebook page.

Azbej said that the persecution of Christians was “not the past but the bloody present”, with an estimated 380 million believers facing discrimination, and “hundreds of millions of them suffering simply for their faith in Christ.”

Last week, a church in Syria suffered an armed attack and hundreds of internally displaced people were massacred in Nigeria earlier in the month, Azbej said.

Through the Hungary Helps programme, which Azbej is also heading, Hungary’s government “and sympathetic Hungarians” have helped people suffering for their faith in more than 50 states, the statement said. “They have successfully made the lives of more than 2 million people better, helped people to stay in their homelands in dozens of countries, saved lives, rebuilt Biblical sites and took hope to where the world remained silent,” he said.
