Parliament to extend the deadline of lockdown?
Lawmakers will vote today about the extension of the special legal order in place because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The bill, submitted by Justice Minister Judit Varga, seeks to protect the lives and health of Hungarians, while shielding the economy from pandemic fallout and preserving jobs. Lawmakers will also vote on an amendment to the waste management law. Hungary’s top court ruled parts of it unconstitutional.
