A new addition to the hospitality landscape is coming to Debrecen, Hungary, as the ibis Styles hotel prepares to open its doors at the city’s airport. This exciting development marks the fifth ibis Styles property in Hungary, further solidifying the brand’s presence in the country.

Hotel features and location

The ibis Styles will be the first hotel in the immediate vicinity of Debrecen International Airport, Hungary’s second busiest airport. This newly constructed hotel will span five floors, offering 72 modern and comfortable rooms along with 16 apartments. Guests will have access to an on-site restaurant and bar, while business travellers can take advantage of dedicated meeting rooms.

Local partnership

The development of ibis Styles Debrecen Airport is the result of a partnership between Accor, the brand’s parent company, and the Xanga Group, one of Eastern Hungary’s largest investment and development groups. This collaboration strengthens Accor’s leading position in the hospitality industry in Central and Eastern Europe.

Recruitment underway

In preparation for the hotel’s opening, Accor has already begun the recruitment process for staff. This initiative not only signals the imminent launch of the property but also presents new employment opportunities for the local community.
