Former Fidesz chief appointed head of Hungarian Tennis Association

Former government office chief János Lázár was elected head of the Hungarian Tennis Association (MTSZ) at the organisation’s Monday assembly.

The lawmaker of ruling Fidesz was elected unanimously as the only contender for the post.

Vasas Sport Club head László Markovits was elected deputy head.

Lazar was elected after five MTSZ board members resigned earlier this year.
