What happened was… nothing at all. No fans swarmed them, the waitstaff didn’t whisper excitedly, and not a single selfie or autograph was requested. The couple calmly enjoyed their tea at The Garden Budapest Café and Restaurant, where they stayed for about 40 minutes—making it fair to say their date in Hungary went quite well.

Kylie Jenner, 27, is an American reality TV star, businesswoman, billionaire, and founder/owner of Kylie Cosmetics. She rose to global fame alongside her sisters on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” She was previously in a relationship with American rapper Travis Scott (II Jacques Bermon Webster), but they split in early 2023. Since then, she’s been dating Timothée Chalamet, the baby-faced 29-year-old actor known for hit films and series such as “Interstellar” and “Dune.”

Kylie posted an Instagram Story from Greece just yesterday, so her visit to Budapest was likely a last-minute decision to drop in on her boyfriend, who is currently shooting key scenes for the third “Dune” movie, titled Dune: Messiah, alongside Zendaya. Naturally, paparazzi grabbed a few photos from the outing, which you can see in Blikk’s coverage—but even those were taken discreetly, respecting the couple’s privacy.

Undercover in the restaurant

The Hollywood couple entered the café with hats and masks but no security entourage. Only their manager joined them, sitting at a separate table, while the pair took seats at the bar. At first, the staff didn’t recognize them due to their cover, but even afterward, the team served their kombucha—fermented tea—with respectful discretion.

A staff member told Blikk that the two were very kind and polite. “They were respectful to the staff and asked a lot of questions about the menu. Those around them also treated their presence discreetly, and nobody interrupted their romantic afternoon,” she added.

This wasn’t the couple’s first time in Hungary’s capital. Back in May 2023, Chalamet was photographed at the Sevilla–Roma match held at Puskás Arena, and Kylie’s private jet also landed in Budapest. Even then, the pair kept their rendezvous under wraps.

“Dune: Messiah” is scheduled to premiere in theaters in December 2026.
