JEE Main 2022 Preparation Tips

With less than a month now to go for the first phase of the JEE Main 2022 examination (expected), our experts have prepared a list of “Do’s” that will help the candidates ace the final stage of their preparation –

  • Mock examinations and real-time analysis have been reported to be especially beneficial as students tend to learn from their mistakes. It helps them to avoid such mistakes on the day of the examination. Strenuous revision and taking multiple mock exams will help the candidates to get more familiar with the subjects and concepts. In addition, it keeps them up and running on the current trend and pattern of the examination
  • The candidates must make a methodical revision strategy and stick to it to assess their clarity on each of the topics. The candidates are assured of more success if they take a methodical approach to effective revision planning
  • The candidates must plan their studies with the amount of time available until the test in mind. The candidates must make a practice of highlighting key concepts while studying that will aid them in rapid adjustments later on. The appropriate plan, together with time management, is critical in determining exam results. The candidates must have a sufficient amount of practice to be able to quickly react to the level of the paper and behave accordingly
  • The candidates must begin their preparations with NCERT textbooks since these textbooks provide the foundation for the JEE Main exams. The textbooks also provide a solid conceptual foundation that is easy to grasp. The candidates must follow question banks from reputable sources and solve them in a reliable manner to aid in efficient practice for the main exam
  • The candidates must never hesitate to seek clarification from the professors and never be afraid of asking questions. Speaking to the mentors and peers can also prove to be helpful for the candidates

Sometimes, smart effort triumphs over hard labor and strategic planning provide a greater result. Regular practice leads to adaptability and quick responses to questions. It results in making the most of the available time in the revision for better scoring. The candidates should concentrate more on honing their abilities through frequent reworking to refine the principles. Making self-written notes aid in memorizing equations, tricks and hints as they are quite useful throughout the preparatory stages. Taking some time off prepares the brain to relax and recall the information the candidates have learnt.
