Improvised Mexican folklore party at Ritz-Carlton in Budapest
“Achai” Cultural Center’s folkloric ensemble tours in Europe and this occasion is visiting Budapest aiming to promote the Mexican intangible cultural heritage.
Achai Cultural Center is located in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, and was founded by Mr. Regino Lopez with the purpose of teach and promote the traditional music and colors of Mexico.
“Achai” in Yaqui language is an affective form for “my big brother” or friend.
On yesterday, with this improvised performance at Ritz-Carlton in Budapest, the folkloric ensemble showed music and dance from several regions of Mexico.
The main organizer of the event was the Mexican Embassy and the leadership of the Ritz-Carlton
