Hungary funds Bosnia-Herzegovina farmers

Hungary will provide under the next round of a government scheme HUF 6.5 billion (EUR 17.2m) in funding for the purchase of Hungarian-made machinery by farmers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the minister of foreign affairs and trade announced in Banja Luka on Wednesday.
The funding will be available from 1 August, Péter Szijjártó said, according to a foreign ministry statement.
The support is for up to 70 percent of the purchase price or EUR 25,000 per transaction, said Szijjártó.
In the first round, a funding of HUF 4 billion supported the purchases of machinery by 768 farmers, he added.
