Hungary also sends unregistered migrants to Austria

After the Hungarian-Serbian border was built, migrants had to find another route to continue their journey towards Austria and Germany; and this new route goes through Croatia. Croatian authorities could not keep up with the massive amount of immigrants that entered the country, and refused to register them before they entered into Hungary.

Zoltán Kovács, spokesman Hungarian government, stated on Friday that “Croatia did not only disappoint Hungary, but the European Union as well, when he neglected his responsibilities,” while Hungary, according to Kovács, “registers and tends to every illegal immigrant.”

According to the Schengen regulations Hungary should register migrants even if Croatia had registered them before, says the Helsinki Committee. However, it doesn’t seem to happen, and Austria has already claimed that there is a great amount if unregistered refugees rushing into their country. Zoltán Kovács admitted to RTL klub yesterday, that there are indeed unregistered immigrants. He said that “refugees refuse to cooperate and we can’t force them to be registered.” Not much can be done if they don’t reveal their identity.”
