Initial reports indicate the rider lost control of the bike and slammed into the guardrail at high speed. Witnesses said the crash happened suddenly and was likely caused by the motorcyclist traveling faster than road conditions allowed, followed by a sudden attempt to brake — which may have led to the loss of control.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene swiftly and provided first aid to the injured motorcyclist, who was then taken to the Sarajevo University Clinical Center. The severity of the injuries has not been officially disclosed, but eyewitnesses stated he was conscious when paramedics arrived.

Police determined the cause of the accident
Police quickly secured the scene and conducted an investigation, causing some delays to traffic in the affected area. Authorities are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the accident but are urging all drivers—particularly motorcyclists—to adjust their speed to match road conditions and exercise heightened caution.

Police later confirmed that the injured motorcyclist, identified as E.H., is a 50-year-old Hungarian citizen who was riding a Honda motorcycle. Officials stated his speed did not match the road and traffic conditions.
