Rubicon history magazine has launched an English-language website with content accessible free of charge for anyone around the world interested in Hungarian history.
The website is devoted to bringing Hungary’s past closer to the international readership, the magazine said in a statement on Friday. Its emphasis is on accuracy and a nuanced approach to history, not muddied by politics, it added.
Rather than simple translations of the Hungarian-language content, the site https://rubicon.hu/en is updated with content tailored to international readers, setting Hungary’s past “in a deeper context”, it said.
Rubicon, established more than three decades ago, carries articles written by professional historians, according to its managing director, Ákos Radványi.
