Shocking: Hungarian 7-year-old girl nearly dies at Austrian beach

A Hungarian 7-year-old girl nearly lost her life at an Austrian beach, saved only by the quick actions of a nearby adult who immediately began resuscitation. Her parents, who have four children, were unaware of her whereabouts and condition until after she was revived.

According to Telex, local Austrian newspapers reported the tragic incident yesterday. The girl had arrived at Walgaubad beach with her parents, who have four children. However, they left her unattended and only realised she was missing after she had been successfully resuscitated. Austrian media state that the parents are raising four children aged 2, 7, 9, and 12.

The girl wandered off unnoticed and clung to a flamingo-shaped inflatable in one of the pools. She was not wearing a swim ring or arm floaties. After drifting a few metres, she capsized into the water. She struggled to stay afloat for two minutes before sinking to the bottom of the 130-centimetre-deep pool. She remained underwater for about 30 seconds until a man swimming nearby spotted her and pulled her out.
