Health care, national defence and security projects to receive extra money
Hungary’s National Research, Development and Innovation Fund is allocating 75 billion forints (EUR 210m) this year for projects in health care, national defence and security, and areas in which the country already has well-developed R+D capacity, state secretary Tamás Schanda said on Tuesday.
Each of the areas are getting an equal share of the 75 billion forints, with the aim of supporting university research hubs, incentivising efficiency and attracting young researchers, Schanda said. The supported projects should contribute to the benefit of society and the economy, he added.
