Government: Achievements could be destroyed by bad decisions in migrant crisis

Budapest (MTI) – The migrant crisis which originated from outside Europe could destroy achievements if bad decisions are made and if there is a lack of strength to fully implement good decisions, the minister of human resources said on Sunday.

The migration crisis could “erode the tissue that holds our life together” and change the face of Europe and Hungary, Zoltan Balog said in a welcome note preceding Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s state of the nation speech.

At the same time, 25 years after the birth of an independent Hungary, the time has come for establishing the foundations of a peaceful civic life and securing the virtues of a civic Christian Hungary, he added.
