Fox’s Tucker Carlson to meet with PM Orbán next week! – VIDEOS

That is not the first time that Tucker Carlson visits Hungary. He was here in August and interviewed PM Viktor Orbán. Then, he went to Esztergom where he gave a long speech praising the Hungarian government. He highlighted that the United States “is the greatest country in the world – I will always think that – but don’t tell me it’s freer than Hungary ’cause that’s a lie.” Now, he announced on Twitter that he would come to Hungary next week “for important reporting”.
Fox’s Carlson returning to Hungary
It seems that PM Viktor Orbán is trying to demonstrate all his international power before the 2022 general elections. As we reported before, vaccine-sceptic Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro will also come to Hungary. This week, PM Orbán had a phone call with former US President Trump. TASS, the Russian News Agency, shared today that PM Orbán would meet with President Putin on February 1, hvg.hu reported. Moreover, in March, Boris Johnson will welcome him, along with the leaders of the Visegrád 4 cooperation – provided the British PM does not resign until then.
However, PM Orbán’s crew is focusing not only on politicians but also on media influencers. That is why Tucker Carlson announced on Twitter that the following week, he would return to Hungary
“for important reporting”.
As we wrote, Carlson was here in August and interviewed PM Viktor Orbán. Below, you can find some quotes Orbán said in the interview:
- “This is our country, this is our people, history, language, so we have to [protect them].”
- Entering a country without permission is no basic human right.
- “I’m treated like the black sheep of the European Union personally.”
- US President Joe Biden’s recent characterisation of Orbán as a “totalitarian thug” in an interview with ABC News was a “personal insult to the Hungarian people,” the prime minister said.
- “Everything is fine, except politics when Liberals are in the government in Washington.”

Is Hungary a bigger threat for the liberals in the USA than China?
Yesterday evening, Tucker Carlson interviewed Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, who is currently in New York at a UN summit. Mr Szijjártó thanked Carlson for his August report on Hungary, highlighting that the liberal mainstream media only spreads lies about the country. Regarding migration, he said that diplomats and foreign ministers tell him to keep up the work of border protection. However, when he throws back the ball and asks other countries why they do not follow the Hungarian example, they always say that they have a coalition government, NGOs, liberal media, etc.
As a result, they cannot fight illegal migration like Hungary.
He concluded that the international liberal mainstream inhibits other countries to express their opinion about illegal migration and taking measures. Szijjártó said that their supermajority in the parliament allows the government to say what they think and act accordingly.
On the question of why Hungary is so threatening to current US foreign policy, Szijjártó said that their government is patriotic, Christian-based, conservative, fulfilling national interest. Thus, “our existence is a danger to them” because they think a successful political system can only exist if you are extremely liberal. However, Hungary demonstrates there is another way to focus on, e.g., family, traditions, patriotism.
“They see you as a much bigger threat than China,”
Carlson said to Szijjártó.
