Fidesz MEP praises Trump, criticises “corrupt dollars” at Budapest Patriots Summit

Since entering office for the second time, US President Donald Trump has proven that swift changes are possible to achieve, and showed that the global left wing does not hold “god-given rights to own “the corrupt dollars” of USAID and other US government organisations, an MEP of ruling Fidesz and president of the Patriots for Europe Foundation said on Saturday.

András László told the Transatlantic Young Patriots Summit, co-organised by Fidesz’ youth arm Fidelitas, and the Lega Giovani and the Republicans for National Renewal youth organisations in Budapest, that people demanded a return to common sense.

Fidelitas leader István Mohácsy said the young European and US patriots had a common goal to fight against the challenges posed by woke ideology and liberalism, and shape the future in such crucial areas as migration, family policy, child protection and national sovereignty.

Italian MP Luca Toccalini said that young patriots had decided to remember their roots in a world that forgot those roots.
