Factory gate price rise in Hungary accelerates radically in December

Factory gate prices in Hungary rose by an annual 22.3 percent in December, accelerating from a 21.6 percent increase in the previous month, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Monday show.

KSH said the prices rose mainly because of dearer raw materials, feedstock and vehicle fuel prices.

Prices for domestic sale climbed 31.4 percent. Export prices rose by 17.6 percent.
