EU funds should be transferred directly to the Hungarian people according to MEP Gyöngyösi

Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán and his government have financed the construction of an oligarchic system in Hungary from EU funds, pointed out MEP Márton Gyöngyösi (Non-attached) and the plenary session of the European Parliament. The Hungarian politician reminded that it would be a mistake to punish the Hungarian people by suspending EU money transferred to Hungary, because of the Union’s reluctance in the past 13 years to deal with Orbán’s corruption. Instead, the funds should be transferred directly to the local councils, the NGOs or to the entrepreneurs, told Gyöngyösi.
