EPP group leader visits migrant centre at Bicske

Budapest, September 11 (MTI) – Manfred Weber, head of the European People’s Party group in the European Parliament, visited a migrant reception centre at Bicske near Budapest, on Friday, and said that the facility meets minimum requirements.

Weber said that though refugees may not see conditions as optimal, those that have fled from war will find security.

Hungary’s authorities are doing their best to meet European requirements, Weber said, and stressed that Hungary abides by European law in terms of handling refugees.
