Diner with a twist: Jamie Oliver opens third restaurant in Budapest!

One of everyone’s favourite British chefs, Jamie Oliver launched a new diner-style restaurant in Budapest. Technically, you cannot dine in yet, but all foods are available at Jamie’s Italian at Buda Castle or for delivery through Wolt. Keywords: “classic American comfort food with some Jamie twist.”
Jamie Oliver brought a new restaurant to Budapest: Jamie Oliver’s Diner, hvg reports. The menu is centred around American cuisine and its delicacies.
Jamie Oliver already has two locations in Budapest: an Italian restaurant at Buda castle and a Pizzeria at Gozsdu. As a third endeavour, he came up with a diner, concentrating on classic American dishes like hamburgers, but with a healthy twist.
When asked about his inspiration for the place, Jamie said:
“I wanted to create a diner menu full of tasty, classic American dishes that also go against all stereotypes of said dishes.”
The menu is full of delicious, classic diner food, like fries, hamburgers, nachos, BBQ and cheesecake, but with great food values and ethics at its heart. According to their website:
“All our ingredients are sustainable and as local as we can make them. There are plenty of gorgeous healthy dishes, as well as some more indulgent ones that I have tried to keep in check. Whatever you choose, every dish is guaranteed to make you smile.”
Although a physical diner has not been opened yet, you can already try out your top picks from Jamie’s diner delivered to your door with Wolt, or you can taste some of the dishes from the blackboard specials at Jamie Oliver’s Italian in the Buda Castle. However, Jamie Oliver does plan to open up a place sometime in the future.
“Born out of Jamie’s love for classic American comfort food. Available for delivery only or on the blackboard offers at Jamie Oliver’s Italian in the Buda Castle.”
