Carpet weavers in Hungary – Photo gallery

Seven experienced weavers are working on a Persian carpet in an Öcsöd workshop; the carpet is made for the House of Representatives.

The work is made on a unique, large loom and the artwork will be completed the next summer.

The carpet when done will contain 15 million knots.

It will be 7 meters and 30 centimeters wide and 20 meters and 80 centimeters long.
