Congratulations! Hungary wins 9 medals at European Para Youth Games

Hungarian athletes have won 9 medals, two gold among them, at the European Para Youth Games (EPYG) held in Istanbul, the Hungarian Paralympic Committee said in a statement.

At the games held between July 21 and 28, 13 Hungarian athletes competed in 5 disciplines. The EPYG drew 650 athletes from 33 countries. Para swimmer Csenge Hotz won gold in 100m butterfly and silver in 400m freestyle.

Milán Kreisz won gold in table tennis, in the MS11 category, the statement said. The bronze winners were swimmer Virág Csenge Janza in 100m butterfly and 100m freestlyle, as well as archer Andor Kollár, judo fighter Bendegúz Földesi, boccia player Gergő Gigacz, and table tennis player Lázár Nyíri-Szabó who won bronze in double with the Spanish Gabriel Diez Alvarez.
