Paloznak Jazz Festival to start on Thursday near Lake Balaton

The 13th Paloznak Jazz Festival will start in the village north of Lake Balaton on Thursday, featuring internationally renowned performers such as Zaz, Judith Hill, Lukas Graham and Mario Bondi, the organisers said in a statement on Tuesday.
The programme of the three-day festival will include live jazz, funk, pop and soul music, as well as DJ sets presented on four stages, the statement said. Star performers on the main stage this year will be the Lehmanns Brothers, the Earth, Wind & Fire Experience by Al McKay and Deladap.
The list of Hungarian jazz performers will include the Eva Muck Band, the Marton Lukacs Trio, the Gabor Horvath Trio, the Budapest Bossanova Quartet, the Mario Rafael Trio, the Proli Jazz Quartet, Saya Noe Solo Live Act, the Krisztián Csapó – Tivadar Varga duo, and Nove Soma with Sandor Csoori Jr.

DJ sets will be presented by Palo Canto feat. Nove Soma, Andrew J & Dan von Schulz, Get Funky and the Groove Generation.
The MBH Bank Winefashion Courtyard will be a new feature at this year’s festival where local designers and international brands will showcase sustainable festival fashion trends, the statement added.
As each year, special events will be offered during the day for children, cooperation will continue with several charity organisations, and waste management will be handled in an environmentally friendly way, the organisers said.
