VIDEO: Young Hungarian accused of drug trafficking arrested immediately after his flight landed

A 20-year-old Hungarian man returning from his summer holiday on board a Wizz Air flight was apprehended by the Hungarian police. He is accused of drug trafficking.an police. He is accused of being a drug dealer.

According to Blikk, the young man, who resides in Vác, was arrested as part of the so-called Delta Programme at Budapest’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport by officers from the Balassagyarmat department of the Hungarian police.

He arrived home from his summer vacation on 17 June, but instead of being greeted by relatives, he was met by several police officers waiting at the plane’s exit. According to the police, the man had purchased marijuana for a customer on 12 May, despite already having been sentenced by a Hungarian court for drug trafficking. As a result, the police initiated his pre-trial detention.
