Attention! The schedule of Budapest’s busiest metro line will undergo significant changes from tomorrow

Due to railway maintenance work, Metro Line M2 will not carry passengers on Thursday and Friday nights, as well as over the upcoming weekend, between Puskás Ferenc Stadion and Örs Vezér tere stations.

According to Blikk, a Hungarian tabloid, Budapest’s Red Metro Line will only operate between Déli railway station and Puskás Ferenc Stadion on Thursday and Friday nights, as well as over the weekend, the Budapest Transport Centre informed the Hungarian News Agency (MTI).

Maintenance work will begin at 10 PM on Thursday and Friday, and the metro will be out of service on Saturday and Sunday.

Passengers can travel between Puskás Ferenc Stadion and Ã–rs Vezér tere using the M2 replacement bus. Additionally, trolleybus 80 will operate from the Füredi Street residential area to Keleti railway station.
