Hungarian government scaring by saying Europe will be at war

“We want no part of Brussels diktats or a Europe at war,” an official of the ministry of EU affairs said on Saturday.
“The European People’s Party crossed another red line in Valencia,” state secretary Barna Pál Zsigmond said in a video on Facebook. “Manfred Weber and his allies adopted a resolution entitled Solidarity with Ukraine, which supports continuing the war and Ukraine’s lightning-fast accession to the EU, regardless of the realities.”
“They want to send weapons, integrate the Ukrainian military industry and would open all of the negotiation chapters with Ukraine already in 2025,” he added.
Hungary, on the other hand, says no to fast-tracking Ukraine’s accession to the bloc, “a Europe at war and Brussels’s puppet government”, Zsigmond said.
He said that at stake in the government’s referendum on Ukraine’s EU accession was whether Hungary could protect its sovereignty.
