An amazing nature film with English subtitles – Aqua Hungarica – VIDEO
Now also available on YouTube with English subtitles, an amazing Hungarian nature film showing Hungary’s most unique aquatic and near-water communities, with spectacular visuals.
From the wildlife-rich marshlands of the Little Balaton to the humid, untouched forests of the Aggtelek National Park and the underwater jungles of Lake Hévíz, the film shows the previously unknown faces of many Hungarian landscapes.
The nature film has also earned the recommendation of WWF Hungary.
The crew shot the film over 9 months in 27 locations, using a range of special techniques – including light-sensitive night cameras, slow-motion and fast-motion timelapse, macro and aerial photography – to create a whole new dimension of species observation. Invited experts, including staff from the Hungarian Natural History Museum, also acted as scientific consultants.
