The European Commission on Friday said it approved 250 million euros in funding for Hungary to buy 13 million doses of jabs of Covid vaccines and pay compensation to doctors and nurses who worked extra hours during the pandemic.

The vaccine funding may be used to acquire jabs authorised by the European Medicines Agency.
