Firefighters put out the fire in Csillagvirág Street, District X, in Budapest, where a two-storey, newly built warehouse and office building caught fire at dawn, a spokesman for the Budapest Directorate for Disaster Management told MTI on Saturday morning.

Máté Kisdi said earlier that the two-thousand-square-meter building, which was integrated with the warehouse and office building was successfully saved from the flames.

The firefighters in the capital arrived at the scene with 20 vehicles, further two vehicles from the Pilisszentiván volunteer firefighters had also joined them, and two 7,000-liter capacity vehicles from the public space management were also in the water-scarce area, the Directorate for Disaster Management said.
