Thyssenkrupp to set up EUR 6.2m development hub in Hungary
Germany’s thyssenkrupp will set up a 2.2 billion forint (EUR 6.2m) engineering development hub in Veszprem, in western Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, the minister of foreign affairs and trade, said on Thursday.
The government is supporting the investment with a 770 million forint grant, the minister said.
The investment will help Hungary maintain its leading role in the European automotive industry and remain a stronghold, he said.
