Foreign minister calls for EU policy ‘not impacting EU-Belarus ties’

Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó has called for “European decisions based on dialogue with Belarus that would not impact further relations or hinder the EU’s Eastern Partnership programme”.

Following telephone talks with his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkevics on Thursday, Szijjártó said on Facebook that the two countries have a similar position on Belarus developments.
