Hungarian ministry launches consumer protection investigation due to unfair contract terms by car sellers

The National Economy Ministry has ordered a consumer protection probe of new car sellers after complaints made over general terms and conditions of sale.

The government and the National Economy Ministry will take all steps necessary to ensure Hungarian families don’t suffer material damages because of unilaterally defined, unfair contract conditions, it added.
