PHOTO: Huge “Shoot Orbán!” graffiti appeared in Budapest!

The Hungarian police are investigating after a large “Shoot Orbán!” graffiti appeared in Budapest’s downtown.

According to hvg.hu, the threatening words were painted on the wall of the Jane Haining embankment, close to the emblematic Vigadó. Want to read more about the Vigadó? We recommend THIS article.

Interestingly, there were only three words, but one was grammatically incorrect (the perpetrator should have used only one “j” letter instead of two). One of HVG’s readers shared a photo with the news outlet depicting police officers investigating the crime scene.

They received a citizen’s report on the issue at 8.30 AM on Friday and carried out an inspection shortly afterwards. They launched an investigation against an unknown perpetrator for vandalism. The graffiti was removed because authorities pay special attention to offensive graffiti or inscriptions with extreme political content.
