Immensely popular shoe chain to leave Hungary

One of the most popular shoe chains, Salamander, is leaving Hungary. The final sale has started in the shops. Soon, they will close all their Hungarian stores for good.

“The owner of Salamander has decided not to continue its retail activities in Hungary in the future,” the company wrote on its social media page.

“We therefore regret to inform you that our shops will soon be closing for good.”

The final sale has started in Salamander stores: their products available at discounted prices, Index writes.

Salamander has fifteen stores in Hungary, nine of them are in Budapest, Telex adds.
