A well-known researcher hit a Hungarian mother-of-four in front of her kids

The incident happened in Szentendre, a small and otherwise charming town close to Budapest. A cyclist brutally assaulted a Hungarian mother after she called him out for endangering her child.

The incident was a top story for days in Hungary, locals are outraged by what happened in their peaceful settlement. According to Blikk, the bike rider was a well-known sociologist, Róbert S., and he regretted what he did. The mother was walking home with her four children that afternoon, but the sunny afternoon turned into a nightmare in just minutes. The woman arrived home with a black eye and four shocked kids.

The family was walking home near the Bükkös stream with their three dogs when a cyclist almost hit their small boy. The cyclist did not ring and the kid did not see him from behind. The man did not like that the dogs roamed freely without being leashed and started to scold the family. The mother said he should not bike there because that segment belongs to pedestrians. One of the eyewitnesses said that they yelled at each other and he does not know how but hit the woman in the face with his fist. But the woman did not fall alone, he dragged his attacker with her. The man continued to hit the woman even after they fell.

Locals say the perpetrator was a sociologist teaching in Budapest. They do not understand how he could do such a thing. Blikk learned that the woman’s attacker is 54-year-old Róbert S. He has been doing market, opinion and social research for 25 years. The man tried to vanish after the incident, but passers-by who saw what happened did not let him do so. Eyewitnesses remember differently about who hit first and how many hits took place. Police are investigating, and the man regretted what he did. But he has not called his victim to tell her that.
