Covid-19 in Hungary – No fatalities for the first time since Spetember!

The novel coronavirus claimed no victim over the past 24 hours, while 32 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Thursday.

So far 5,493,609 people have received a first jab, while 4,958,805 have been fully vaccinated.

The number of active infections has declined to 38,964, while hospitals are treating 116 Covid patients, 20 of whom need respiratory assistance.

There are 1,998 people in official quarantine, while 6,138,529 tests have been officially carried out.

Since the first outbreak, 808,160 infections have been registered, while fatalities have remained unchanged at 29,992. Fully 739,204 people have made a recovery.

So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.
