The number of active infections has declined to 188,083 in Hungary

Fully 91 patients, generally elderly with co-morbidities, died over the past 24 hours, while 677 new infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday.
So far 4,305,775 people have received a first jab, while 2,503,575 have been fully vaccinated.
The number of active infections has declined to 188,083, while hospitals are treating 3,384 Covid patients, 394 of whom need respiratory assistance.
There are 20,967 people in official quarantine, while 5,538,792 tests have been officially carried out.
Since the first outbreak, 792,386 infections have been registered, while
fatalities have risen to 28,693.
Fully 575,610 people have made a recovery.
So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.

Registration opens for foreign residents
People in those groups can register at www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu, the centre said.
It added that vaccination would start in the second half of May with foreign residents in Hungary, with Hungarian nationals living in other countries to follow.

The registration for people aged 16-18 has closed
Hungary is among the first countries in the European Union to administer vaccines for this age group and the initial registrations have been successful. Over 84,000 people registered for the vaccination next week.
Those people between 16-18 who registered after Friday (May 7th midnight) will receive the jab, but they are queued with everyone else.
