After reading about his mother’s birthplace of Eger in a novel, Hunt decides to visit the city. The novel speaks of the heroic 16th century when Eger was one of the ultimate strongholds against the Ottoman Empire. But it is not only the place’s history and ancestral connection that peaks Hunts interest. For, in the book, Hunt finds two letters from a strange Hungarian scientist dating from 1898, which describe his discovery of time travel.

But what really marks this game out as special is its immense realistic simulation of Eger. Yoomurjak’s Ring even features dialogue and background sounds recorded in the original locations. Furthermore, the dialogue was provided by the prominent Hungarian actors László Görög and György Bárdy, and the rapper Ganxsta Zolee.
